i have a 4" albino bichir that ive had for about a month. ever since the first day i got him he always seems really hyper. hes constantly swimming around the top with my arowana. and i noticed that he loves to rub his body up against the aro. its pretty funny watching him and right now i have him along with everything else in the tank on medium hikari gold pellets. is this normal activity for a small bichir?

when i bought my first bichir, he was really active too for about a month. after that he kinda settled and now he is more quiet. still fun to watch tho 
(but my bichirs seem to hunt all day&night Mine is definatly diurnal lol. At night he doesn't move and just sleeps. He doesn't eat anything I throw in there at night either lol.
