Bichir and aro

would a 10 inch bichir be okay with a 6 inch aro?
 
sure why not?

a 10" bichir can't eat anything even close to half its size lol. maybe a 4" silverside?

should be fine tho. i had my leichardti at only 5" with my 14" endli and they were fine. until the leichardti grew larger then the endli :)
 
Well.... bichirs are hunters.... even though they cant swallow the fish they may cause some damage by biting on them.
 
there is a possibility of a bad outcome, but i wouldn't think very likely. silver aro?
 
I have bichirs in with my aros...never had a problem.

My biggest is a lapridae (12") and he never even shows interest in my small black aro.

Edit: I do have a TON of hide spots though...it may be a different story if you have them in each others view all of the time.
 
i would think so...how about some pics of them? i think it would be a neat combo
 
i dont think you will have a problem i had a 13" ornate and a 12" endlicheri with small aros in the past never had a problem
 
i got him but the oscars picking on him this usaully goes on for a day then it just stops, what should i do wait or move it?
 
it got eaten by the bichir if i dont get rid of the bichir in a week its gonna die!
