wow u got a bichir to breed, huh? Ive heard that they are pretty hard to breed, any suggestions?

Plenty of suggestions. As with all 'hard to breed' fish, just try replecate their natural spawning environment and you will be fine. With the obvious exception of migratory fish.

I have a pair or ornates that look like doing the deed with a bit more TLC.
