im trying to decide whether i should get a yellow tail asian arow or a jardini to mix with my 12'' endli in my 55g grow out... hmm...:nilly:
any ideas???

banjar would be better considering the jardini's typical behavior.

absolutely none. 55gal, thats a puny tank for future monster. i'm not sure about "growout tanks" but even a 12 inch endli is still pretty cramped in it. if i were you, I would first get like a 200 gal and then get an Arowana. In a 55gal, the aro and bichir will fight, especially if u get the jardini.

hmm... im gonna get a 4ft tank real soon! few more months time... now i hav a great offer for a jardini and a yellow tail... gonna choose one... hmmm... is jardini really that bad? i mean are their temper really that bad?

stick to asian aros, they tend to grow much smaller

4ft is way too small. Yo'll need more like a a 6ft tank. jards are considered to have vicious attitudes. People sa that if you have a tankmate with them, it's already quite a accomplishment. Bichir and bottom dwelling tankmates are ideal for Jards. The smallest specis of aros, Jards and asains need at least a 200 gal tank (i'm pretty sure bigger). i don't know if there is a 200+tank that is 4 feet unless its custom.

4 ft is way to small but if it must be done then get the yellow tail because by the time the jar is 13" he will kill everything in the tank
