what does a bichir bite,look like ? ,i think my senegal has attacked my ornate on the head ,but not sure what to look for , both fairly small still

Hi unable to upload pic no access to camera , looks like a abcess ? (*spelling),on top of head ornate is 4 inch approx , senegal is not much bigger

CAn you isolate the ornate in another tank and medicate it?

i isolated him straight away when i noticed , are they quite hardy when it comes to healing ?, seems to still be eating and doing what ornates do , but not looking to pretty (only a face a mum could love )

isolated him as soon as i saw him, what are the chances of healing ?

They are usually good at healing up.Just watch for signs of infection and keep the water as clean as possible-Anne
