Bichir can't poop.

I know it's not water quality as other bichirs are perfect. Ornate happened to eat something got him clogged unable to poop. Pea method best method or should I squeeze?

Don’t squeeze. Try some pure epsom salt at 3 tbsp per 5g.

My friend has a endli bichir that appears to have something stuck preventing it from pooping also. There’s a big lump towards the back half of the belly and been like that for years. Must be passing something before it can live so long. He thinks it swallowed a rock or something while feeding. It’s doesn’t look healthy.

Hard to pass if it’s a rock or stone. Can try some pure epsom salt 3 tbsp per 5g for a week.
