Bichir collection redux

Just sharing some small bichirs I'm growing out.

The lfs where I got these endlis had them on feeders. Took them a couple weeks but they are finally broken and are taking pellets and tilapia.



They're going to look good with more weight.



Yellow albinos





Long fin albino that I hope develops more color. It's only been here a couple days.

I have wanted some lf albinos for years. Finally have a couple. Their fins look really cool when they're cruising around.

U screwed up lol .... U bought some ljs lol now u will be sucked back into the bichir addiction lol watch u will slowly be like RAWR!!!!! Must have more!!!!!! Lol nice long fins man I Ben wanting some myself for awhile

Thank you I got lucky and swooped them up when they were fresh so they're developing nicely.

Long fins are to get in socal. Haven't seen any in an lfs here ever. Other places I'm sure get them more easily.

I don't know how the breeders did it but I'm willing g to bet they noticed some had longer fins than others and picked those out for further breeding.

There's natural variation in fun size/shape. I have a moke with oversized pectoral fins.

Dude no joke!!! I got these... which made me miss my lower jaws that I stashed at a friends house, so I picked them up. Then I got that congicus from Raff in the classifieds, and now I'm tank shopping for a 240g.

Yeah that was my collection and setup before I sold it. Frank got most of those fish but I still have a couple of the congicus, the moke, and a couple others.
