ok i think now that one of my seng might try to eat the other. the one is around 7" and 5" it looks like my smaller one might fit in the largers mouth. i got them at the same time and they have never been seperated and got along great till the last water change then i noticed that cain(the big one) was bullying able(the little one). i havent seen any agresion today but it still worrys me a little. they were my first fish since my beta when i was a kid.

I would seperate them. I had 2 senegals (1 normal and 1 albino short bodied) that I got and raised together. I noticed some aggression from the larger regular senegal but since I didn't see any torn fins or bite marks, I didn't think much of it... The albino died a week or two later, again with no marks or damaged. It might have been the aggression, or it may not... but I will never take that chance again, and I seperate bichirs that show that aggression. Now, I put the senegal in another tank that had other bichers in it (no senegals), and he hasn't been aggressive since.

lol yea and it was wierd they were the same size when they got there names lol

just an up date. since the day of the WC there has been no aggression amungst the bichirs but the poor pictus cat gets a nip take'n out of him every now and then but thats normal
