I got 2 bichirs in a tank with an arowana, oscar and 3 peacock bass. So needless to say, its kinda hard to get pellets down to the bottom. Then I found out that none of my fish like nightcrawlers, so its super easy to get nightcrawlers down the bottom. Just wondering if its ok to feed my bichirs only nightcrawlers for the rest of their lives?

They need a varied diet drop a couple of pellets in after the room is dark they can smell the pellets.

I've once bought a 21-22" Tire Track eel from a private seller. Who had since it was small, and only fed it night crawlers for 2.5 years. It was solid black and never seen or heard of this variation before. I believe the black peat enclosed with these worms caused this unnatural occurrence. Just something to think about if you go this route.

Here's a terrible pic of this uber super rare black tire track eel (Just Kidding) and the only food source.
