bichir feeding questions

hey. i have a polypterus endlicheri and he really likes fathead minnows (quarantined of course), and ghost shrimp. How can i convert him to eating hikari cichlid pellets? when i try he just ignores them

don't feed him for a day or two and try putting the pettlet in after. Have you try feeding them Hikari Massivore delite. I just recently switch from market shrimp to massivore delite for the first time and they seem to love it.

be patient and try again. this time, starve him first. don't feed him anything for several days.

I feed my 3 10" endlis Hikari "sinking carnivore pelets" in the white and red pouch. Its like giving candy to kids. Unfortunatley this stuff is $12/2.61 oz bag at my local Petland.
