i've 5 bichirs in my bigger 125g all over 10 inch, biggest being 14". I feed them with sinking carnivorous pellets + sinking goldfish pellets as a staple, and they get live food once a week. Just want to know, at this size, is it ok to feed them only once a day? Thanx

I feed mine once a day and there is absolutely no problem at all. My tank is about the same size except I have more bichirs than you do in the tank. I feed mainly shrimps but sometimes carnivore pellets when I'm lazy to chop up the shrimps in tiny pieces.

Btw, how many and what bichirs you have in your tank?
I have 15 bichirs and half of them are about 10" or more. I know it's overstock but I do waterchange once a week and running two emperor400 and two canister filters.
