i have a 3-4 inch senegal 5 inch lap and 7-8 inch retro and a silver arowana. i bought a flagtail the other day and brought it home and noticed that it scratched a couple of times. my lap started to swim around and he landed on my heater. i was gonna try to knock him of, i dont want him to get burned or stuck in the heater but he swam away. he started going nuts then he scratched on the floor about 3-4 times. i want to add salt and raise my temp but i dont know how much salt my bichirs can handle. how much can my bichirs handle and how much should i add. if someone can help me,
