do any of you guys own a bichir????
if so what makes them so great i mean like everyone practicly likes them im just curious why everyone likes them????

where should i start??? They have so much personality, i love watching them, and one of my sens even likes to play in the bubbles by swimming up and down by the air stone. There is so much more to them, other people will tell you.

I have one sen. and it swims non stop, all day long.Playing alot in the bubble wall. Also loves say "hello" to everyone that walks up to the tank. Thinking about getting one or two more.

Yes, they're carnivores. This one eats tilapia, earthworms, silversides, and some bloodworms and pellets. He's grown from 6 to about 9 inches and has gained much girth.
