I've seen quite a bit of talk about the sensory pits bichirs possess but my endlicheri has been getting whiter and whiter around pits in his head. Excuse the diatoms and algae, my timer failed on me and I wasn't coming down to check the lights at night and have left it for the snails. I test my water weekly before water changes and have done nothing different. It has progressed over the last few weeks and now he just has a little white patch on his head. He's in a 55 at about 7 inches long, housed with a few guppies and mystery snails I've bred to be parasite free, and a delhezi bichir that's 6 inches long. Temp is 80 and has been 80 since I got him.
I should add that I have treated with kanaplex for 4 rounds instead of the recommended 3 and have seen no improvement.
