I was curious to see what everyone thinks these are. Not all of them are fully settled in. So patterns are kind of faded. Comment on what you think each specimen is. :)

It's quite difficult to ID these when young. Not very many pbb pics under 17". Their head shape has not fully developed yet. Heads get elongated on pbb's as they age/get larger. While nigerian type Lapradei (eastern) are wider from side to side. Kinda makes it appear as a shorter head shape.

They look great! So they're polypterus sp. Looks great ! :)
 
I'd say mix. The smaller pbb i had looked very different from the larger one as vancouver stated...but coukd be wrong...maybe all lap interested to see the true answer
 
I want to see if anyone else has anything to say before revealing their identities.

I took a guess but like T thefredpit said I'm no good at lj ids either.

I myself aren't too sure. I'm sure I'll be wrong. But I'd guess all are lapradei's.
