Bichir ID?

Hey guys,

New poster here, but I'm a long-time follower and MFK has been a great resource for me in the past. (Though it hasn't helped much in curbing the bichir addiction... I have six now.)

I picked up a new guy today and I'm having a little trouble identifying him and hoping you guys can help me out.

He does have a distinct pattern for sure, but it's pale. He has gold pectoral fins and is all over a green-ish grey.

I'm thinking ansorgii or some kind of ansorgii hybrid? Honestly don't care what he is in the end because I only paid 3.99 for him (Actually feel a little bad about that), but I would like to know how big he'll get eventually.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

It does look like the 9 Ansorgii/Endli hybrids I have,which were identified on here,mine seem to be quite slow growers compared to my small endlis fyi.

Thank you. Honestly wouldn't mind if he grew slower than the others as he's currently the biggest guy in the tank at about 9" (I'm only about a year into this bichir-keeping business. ). The two little endlis and ornate I have need some time to catch up to this guy and the comparatively sized delhezi and weeksii.
