Surfing the arowana section I discovered a theard displaying some of the more hardcore owners who have commerated their fish with a tatoo. Was curious if any of my fellow poly owners have done the same. If so would really like to see them. After discovering that thread I'm know considering a tat of my senegal. So really interested in samples of poly tats if there are any members who do in fact have one.
That asked heres a sample pic of the kinda pose I want to have my senegal in for my tat. If I do decide to go through with it. Let me know what ya think.

That will be quite cruel as the dye chemicals actually shortens their lifespan. Think again before doing it bro

hahaha, BK he's talking about getting a tattoo on him, OF a bichir, not ON a bichir

Oh i see, sorry for the blunder. haha

A few strong looking congicuses will look great!

Ive been thinkin bout doin this too. but not just bichirs... lots of stuff
all my fav aquarium fish.

bichirs, snakeheads, knifefish, arowanas cichlas and stingrays

like a big collage thing going on... im only into big tattoos... all my tattoos are large pieces and i find small ones pointless...

Thanks for the ideas all. Know theres some much more impressive looking bichirs than senegals. But think for me to get a tat it has to mean something. So this being my only bichir and my favorite fish I've ever owned in my years of fish keeping. Still planning on getting one of my senegal. Been tossing round ideas in my head and have mostly decided the location and size part anyhow. Thinking left leg, Starting mid calf with him coming up vertical with his head and upper portion of his body curving around ending up just below my knee. As far as size was thinking it would be cool to have it be lifesize about 8-9". Kinda of a real life tribute to my seg.
Once again thanks for the suggestions most apperciated. Also glad to her that some of you other bichir owners have or are planning to immortalize your polys or other fav fish in ink.

I have an asagi koi on my thigh...
