Bichir is FREAKING out!

I just moved my 4" delhezi from his growout tank into a 55gal with a 6" Senegal. I have been watching closely for the past 40 minutes and have not seen any aggression whatsoever. The delhezi occasionally follows the sen around like a puppy dog but the Senegal is just going crazy. As soon as the del gets near, he zigzags around the entire tank and tries to jump out! Is this normal?

your senegal is probably just not use to having another tankmate. dont worry about it.

i dont think the gender of the two really matter. Pretty sure its only because the dels a new tank mate and senegals are arguably one of the most active bichir, hell calm down in a day or so
