My bichir seems to have one of his nostrils with some blood in it, I think he might have bonked his nose against the glass.....What can i do to help this?

You could add salt, but really clean water is the most important to avoid infection.
A friend of mine swears by raised temps (gradually over a few hours of course) and salt.
Do you have any decor in the tank that the fish could've bumped into?

again with the salt lol.Actually depending on how bad its damaged it will heal or the from where the damage is to the end of the Nare(nostril) will turn white(calm down
