bichir outta water

u know that bichirs can survive pretty long out of water? I read it up in a book.

They have the ability to gulp air when they swim up to the water surface, and this helps them live in crappy water in the wild... Im sayin they could live like 2, maybe 3 hours outta water.

Hi.yes the can survive out of water but it depends on factors like heat,light,and humidity.

Yeah. If its kinda cold and humid, then itll be able to stay out of water longer than they would be able to if it was hot and dry out.

4 a long time if they stay moist if they're out on carpet they wont last long at all

They can survive if there is moisture in their skin.

yeah i ordered a bichir and it came in with hardly any water in its bag (it was slithering around) and its living fine and dandy
