Bichir pacing??

I have a 12inch endli bichir, weve only had her for about a week now.
She seems to ALWAYS be pacing at the front of the tank. She'll hide her head and lay across plants for a few seconds here and there.
Is there something wrong? Is she just bored? Or is this normal??

Sou es like it may be bored or hungry. Are there enough hiding spots? Preferably ones that block some light if tank lights are on.
Check water parameters too perhps.
