Bichir parasite

Hi, can I please ask for advice I don't know what to do with my senegal bichir. The cause of this is because I fed him too much chicken heart for a week maybe about 3-4 times. This is my first fish and I just started about a month or two he's with 2 endli 13 inches both and a 7' iridescent catfish in a 55 grow out. But I've separated the senegal I treated him with meth blue and salt and do water changes everyday about 10% I even put anti parasite that I bought at the pet store I explained and they recommended the anti parasite powder but it doesn't look like it's working. Can I please ask for your advice thankyou very much! His behavior is normal even a little bit of information is very much appreciated.

It may not be a parasite but a wound or internal infection. Also possible one of the Endlicheri grabbed the smaller Albino Senegal.

It was only 1 round looking wound and after 3 days it became 3 ? they were tank mates for quite a long time with no issues before I got them from the reseller

As fish mature things can change for the better or worse. Some fish either mellow out or get more aggressive. Also I tried keep CB Senegalus with Endlicheri and 2 Senegal were eaten.

It looks like septicemia. Maybe from food or poor water quality. That’s why I suggested the antibiotics in your first post with the same problem. If u can’t get meds then separate from other fish and provide clean water. Even with meds I’d suggest separating. Also I’d hold feeding till it’s doing better or it’s not worsened after several days. Tlindsey is right about mixing bichirs which can worsen with sick fish.

I already got meds but it looks like the one they gave me wasn't working (anti parasite) he's in another tank now I also tried meth blue and api salt before nothing has changed but his behavior is still the same and still acting normal

Thankyou guys so much after trying 5 medications I finally pulled out the parasite and it was an active and long one, thank God he's still alive. He's my first fish afterall and I don't want him dying. Still gonna let him stay at the separate tank just to be sure another one comes out

Placed medication and saw the parasite got the tools and pulled it off him, maybe it was because of the chicken heart I'll stop feeding them 3x a week with chicken heart, thankyou everyone for helping I just started awhile back so I didn't know feeding them chicken heart was a bad idea ? still gonna continue medication for a week just incase another parasite is in there
