Bichir pics

O yes, currently there 2 endlicheri and 1 florida gar in. This because of the mating behaveriour of the endlicheri. The lapradei are in another tank and are for sale.

Nice bicher,also what kind is it.I had 2 bichirs but they caught a disease and died one day after the other.I have no clue what disease it was but all the other fish in my tank lived.They died with there mouths open,do you know what disease it was?

Thanks. I can't wait for my bichir to get bigger to. That will make them the right age to release eggs :D

Thanks. There are two species of bichir in the pics. The fish with the black stripes are Polypterus endlicheri and the other ones are Polypterus lapradei. I think your bichir died of parasites.
