AKA, nobody needs your smart ass comments when they've got an honest question. If you're going to be a dick about it then don't even waste the time to reply.

I do understand his point, there are far too many posts along the lines of "Please give me all the info about...", expecting us to retype a huge quantity of info instead of simply searching for it.

He asked a question. We either answer it or not. No need for getting mad over this kind of stuff. Noone has to use the search fucntion. I sound like Lupin now. :) lol But it's true, either tell him where it is or don't answer.

Personally the "use the search function" post wasn't that bad.

Just get captive breed bichirs as even some endli will stay under 16". Don't get wild caughts.

If you put a captive endli in a 180, how large will it grow? I want mine to get larger than 16". Is this likely?

It will depend on the gene of the endli. If it got a bad gene it may just stay at 14.5-16 inches doesn't matter how big the tank and how well you feed it. However if it got a good gene then doing a regular water change and feeding it with meaty food that have high in nutrition will help it get up to 20"+ but it may take a while to get to that size.
