BICHIR STAYS AFLOAT?? PLZ HELP

My delhezi bichi is about 5-6 inches as just noticed this morning he's at the very too if the water. He tries to swim down but struggles to stay down. Does he have bloat or something? Plz help

Could be.... Is their any bloating ? When did he eat last and what was it ? what are the temperatures like ? How often do you do water changes and when was the last one ?

As a precautionary measure I'd start by doing a 20-25% water change, and ad some aquarium salt (assuming the other tankmates can handle this).

Doesn't look like bloating. Fed him yesterday morning with omega sinking pellets the real small ones. Temp is at 85, water changes every 10 days, did a water change about 3 days ago.

I will do another water change but need to buy aquarium salt first. Don't have salt

Hey dr. B you were totally right. I went to go touch my bichir with my hand. He frantically starts to swim down and air bubbles start coming out of somewhere I didn't notice and now he touchdown. Thanks guys. I thought I wan goin to lose him
