would tan color sand make my delhezis more darker?

I don't know if it would be the same but when I put black substrate in my cichlid tank their color darkened a lot more then when I was using a light color sand, but I have only had sen polys.

convict, severums, tex, jack dempsey, oscars, and firemouth. The jack showed the most change. He was very lite brown with the sand, after putting the black sub in his black and blue colors really darkened

I have tan color sand with my delhezi, it hasnt really affected him since hes black and grey but i noticed that when he was in with black sand he was darker if thats what your looking for.

ok Thanks i am going with black sand. But what kind??? :nilly:

If you can get the very fine gravel or large sand whichever way you want to say it,it is easier to deal with than the really fine sand,if you look at my polys and my substrate you will see what darkish does to the poly colour like in my endli spoonhead thread,it darkens it but i like it like that instead of a bit washed out.
