Bichir with Axolotl?

Will these two go along? Delhezi is 4 I inches and Axolotl is 3 inches and care tip on Axolotl?

I havn't kept either but have looked into both. I'd go with no.
Bichirs are tropical and Axies are coldwater. Axies should be kept in species only tanks.

X 2 Couple years back my LFS had som axolotls I researched the possibility of them and bichirs and came up with a no go.

I think that if the water is too warm the axolotls turn into tiger salamanders?

No, they just die. They don't even have as much toleration capability for warm water that goldfish do.

No - Axolotls need unheated water, and the Bichir will nip away at the axolotl constantly. Bad mix.

i did a little research, and what I was thinking of was waterdogs. They look pretty similar hence why i got confused.
