I dont know if this goes in this section, but i have a 125 gallon. It has 1 Oscar, 1 JD, 1 baby loisellei and 3 tinfoil barbs.

Would a Bichir be out of the question? Or to be more specific, are there any types of Bichir that WOULD work. Or no?

Anybody??????????

And would i be overstocked?

bichirs work well with my cichlids. i don't think that you are over stocked..just full. i would say that a bichir would work in your tank. i will warn you that in my experience loiselle are too mean for your group of fish. if you are worried about overstocking in the future, i would also lose the tinfoil barbs and get silver dollars instead

good idea. I'm not immensly attached to them. I could part with them if need be.

I dont know why i didnt think of removing them. ;)

I dont think i'll ever be able to part with my Loisellei. I've only had him for about 1 month, but he's already my favorite. :(

I would say it would work well as long as you didnt get one of the larger species of bircher and they were of similar size.

i have 1 9" p. endlicheri endlicheri in a 125g with 2 7" f. rostratus and so far so good. Only worry is coming home to find the seems of the tank bursted! (knocks on wood)

Territory for everybody makes for a happy tank. My bichirs get along fine with my Acei, although none of the other fish do.
