bichir with cloudy eye

my palmas polli has one cloudy eye that also appears swollen. i have no clue as to what the cause is as water parameters are great and no new inhabitants have been added. any insight as to the cause or cure of this would be much appreciated as i don't want him to loose his eye

might be fungus or bacterial or he may have damaged em by running into something or he could of had a fish pick at it
