is this just a bad idea, or would it work in a big enough tank...my red devil is about 10 inches, and i believe it's a female since here temperment is so calm... currently it is with a dwarf pike and a pleco, and the devil does not seem to bother them much...is there any possibility of keeping some sort of bichir with these guys, or am i asking for trouble?

bichirs are fine wit just about anything it'll be fine I've kept bichirs with doviis, devils, festeas, etc........

I used to have a 14in. male dovii in with the ornate in the photo at that time the ornate was proly about 12in. and smaller da hole time she was with the dovii, she would swim in his cave and u'd see him SHOOT out of the cave the the bichir in his mouth he would swim up to the top of tank and the swim all the way across the tank and spit her out the swim back to his cave NO PROBLEMS I've got old pics of this sumwhere but I can't find them

the only thing thats ever showed real aggression towards any of my bichirs was my Common Walking Catfish and my Senegal bichir

sweet pics! any suggestions as to what type i should get??? do they need good hiding spots, or do they like to be out in the open. also, with the red devil at 10 inches, would it be best to get one already about that size? thanks for the help
