bichir with swolled tail?

hi, i noticed today that an area on his tail is swolled and he has a white small spot underneath. do you think its a sign for something wrong? he is eating and active.
water p are 0,0,10.
aquarium is 350L , with good filteration
tankmates are 4 small peacocks that dosent bother him.
 
Try some epsom salt.

Bloat can start of this way before it gets bad. Think also males can have a similar appearance when trying to court.
 
he is there alone, and he is pretty small. like 13 cm length.. is it still likley that he will be sexually mature and that hell display courting behaviors even though hes there alone?
