Hi this is my continuation of my previous post "skinny bichir?". Anyways I now notice that my "infected" bichir has faint black "streaks" on his stomach. Now I,m pretty sure that my bichir has worms in hir stomach. GROSS! A fish specialist in my lps suggest a anti paracite food that can kill interior paracites from eating the food. Will that work??? I'm pretty sure the worms might of happen 4 weeks ago when i fed my bichirs feeder guppies. How long will my bichir survive without medication. I think i cannot get it after a few days. My "sick" bichir acts fine and has a HUGE appetite. The only problem is that it is very skinny. Are intestinal worms the culprit??
