Anyone know where to get variety of bichirs in singapore? thank you.

There are plenty of captive breed bichirs in Singapore. Just go around your LFS and you will definitely find some.

Hmm.. Most Singapore lfs do sell bichirs what.. Especially sens, ornates and endlis.. Try serangoon north? The whole group of shops there do sell..

hey madscientist,
peace be upon u

I don't know about wild caught ones. Don't know how to differentiate between wild caught and farm bred. Normally I go all around singapore to see which LFS have nice stocks and I don't necessarily stick to one shop too. Some have nice endi, some don't. Goes the same for the other variants i.e. sens, albinos, ornate etc. As long as they look healthy, active and fins intact.

Normally I go to pasir ris farmway, Seaview at seletar, C328, Aquastar and Y618. I don't buy from serangoon north eventhough it's just a walking distant from where I stay.

hey maddy,

well aquastar is at yishun ring rd, blk934. Nice place and lots of accessories. Friendly staffs working there.
As for the serangoon north, it's just that I never tried buying from there. Ever I tried enquiring about the polypterus, the shopkeeper refer the endi, ornate and albino as "tiger, flower and red eye dragons" respectively. Plus some of the polys I see are either non active or have cloudy eyes. But that's just me being skeptical...

It's all entirely up to you where u prefer. We as customers or consumers have e right to choose....rite? I enjoy cruising on my bike so traveling here and there checking out LFS on a sunny afternoon is like a therapy to me...
