I have a new bichir fish and it eat sometime but it floats on the top of the circuits all day long and I think it broke can somebody help me

what do you mean by circuits? When it does move does it move normally?

Is that the tank? How big is the tank? It could be trapped air or due to the level of the water it will swim toward the top and cruise like that. Need more information.

+1 is that its tank? it doesn't look like there's an air pump or any moving water at all. It may be that the water is so depleted of oxygen that he's chilling at the top so he can breathe the air

The bichir is 2in but I have it in a 10 gallon tank in till it bigger then I'm going to move it to my 75 oscar tank

a 10 gallon is fine when it's that size, but is he in that tank in the pictures?
