Im considering buying a ray but I was wondering how they would get along with a polypterus? Its a longfin and very docile. Never shown aggression towards anything.

just realized im an idiot for trying to start a new thread after 2 am. I ment for the title to read Polypterus and Rays ha ha. You all get what im trying to ask anyways

Thanks in advance

i actually get and see a lot of replies after 2am.

Thanks!

I meant im an idiot because im too tired to think straight while typing my title.

I had some polypterus with my rays but not anymore. The biggest problem is feeding time. If you don't hand feed your bichir, he will probably starve. Rays are aggressive eaters and will not leave any food on the bottom. If the bichir is an aggressive eater then he will find himself under a rays disk which he won't like LOL!

its a gamble kinda but most of the time they are good tank mates.....
