I picked up a Nigerian Endlicheri yesterday from the guys at http://big-in.jp

As I do with most new Bichirs, I give a few days of only having the "moonlight" blue lights on.
I think Bichirs can look great under a blue light, and mine become super active and hunter like in this light.

Thought I would share some pics of the new girl, and some others in her tank by moonlight.

Nigerian Endli: (colors and patterning not come out yet, but nice shaped head and great pectoral fins!)

Congicus I got the other day: (brutal face on this girl!)

Some more bigger Congis:

Teugelsi: (glows under blue light!)

Cat of the tank: (bully)

Queen of the "heavens": (she keeps the whole tank in shape)

Loads more monsters in there, will take more pics again soon.

Cheers for looking!

Yeah I like it.
You don't get to see the colors of them, but they seem to really come alive.

I also turn just these lights on some evenings when I am chilling with a beer and watching them.
The daytime/early evening lighting looks nice, but not so relaxing.

Teugelsi under blue light is really beautiful!

I dont really like the moonlight lights they dont really show anything at all

Very envious on this end. Great additions to a fantastic collection. Love your pics although I would like to see more of that brute of an endi you have (I think one of the most impressive poly's on this site)
