I got a package of the gel textured marine formula 1 a while back. I have been having a great deal of trouble getting my bichirs to vary their diet and I figured what the hell.. So last night I chopped up one of these frozen blocks (the texture thawed out is like a thick jello and the bichirs ate it up with a quickness and loved it. Would it be an ok supplement to their diet of silversides krill and worms ?

Looks to have some vitamins and essential nutrients in it im just curious if there is any reason not to feed it...

im far from a pro when it comes to a healthy diet.. but IMO.. food is for eating.. my bichirs LOVE diy loachfood... so.. who knows..

Wheres the DIY loach food link hook it up brutha :) ? I cant get them to eat massivore anymore unfortunately. But this stuff has awesome ingredients and tons of protein its easy to chop up and slice looks great to me I was surprised the bichirs went nuts for it. The whole tank became a writhing mess of bichir excellence.

I feed my bichir alot...Daphnia, bloodworms, beefheart, 'discus food', flakes, variety wafers, mysis, algae wafers ect...lol It seems to eat most things :D

I gotcha the thing is mine will not eat anything but silversides , crickets , and krill dipped in seachems entice. They wont touch massivore except for one time after a weeks starving. I was excited to see they accepted this food and it has a lot of beneficial ingredients.

They all love it now... Anyone input maybe ?
