bichirs flashing

today i saw 2 juvy bichirs flashing.
the ornate flashed the same side 4-5 times in quick succession while the endli flashed only once.
i dont see any signs of external parasites or ich, but it is possible that they have ich in gills.

should i treat for ich or external parasites first?
it seems unlikely they have those external parasites from wc bichirs, since these are definitely cb (bought them at 2-3 inches, now one is 6 while the other is 4)

both ich and parasites are possible since I used a bag of livebearer feeders to cycle the tank.

Could be bichir worm, I'd treat for external parasites, which will also take out Ich if this is it.

could be external paracites. Never heard of a bichir with ich. these are very tough fish that haven't changed for millions of years.
