thanks a lot everyone the zaire green is actually about 2/3 the length of the ornate, not as thick thats for sure, but still its not in any danger. the z-green is actually not the smallest bichirs in there.
the camera is canon 400D, unfortunately, no external flash and only using the kit lens.
