bichirs playing crowd control...

So my bn plecos have decided to become prolific breeders. Between the 3senegals and dempsey they share my 125g with. The babys do not last long.

My question is are plecos an unhealthy meal for the bichirs or should I just continue to let nature do its thing...

It should be as long as the baby plecos dont grow to the point that it already develop it's harden scales and spines.

Nah the biggest ive seen in that tank is a quarter inch. I actually saved the first two batches but that was 60 plus plecos.... they go to in auction in two weeks

I had a issue removing corydoras sterbai from my tank, i managed to remove 13 out of 15, then i just gave up.

But my endli bichir ended up eating both of them, and suprisingly he is doing just fine.
And my bichir is only 7 inches, and if he can eat manage cory's i think baby plecos wouldn't be a problem, but i still wouldn't recommend it.
