Bichirs with bowfin and gar?

Well I have a 6" ornate bichir, 6" spotted gar, and a pair 5" shovelnose catfish in a lightly planted tank. They all seem to enjoy each others company. Mostly the gar with the cats.
I don't really like the bowfin to much. I use to always catch them while fishing.

Thanks all! It'll be a long wait before I can set up a tank like that, but one day I'll do it.
MrBlakc- Give bowfin a chance. I've been fascinated with them since the first time I saw a big male sitting in the middle of his boiling black school of young, giving me the staredown. Hopefully I'll be able to get out and take some pictures of them this spring.

Well I have thought about it. There were a few times that I would get a small one with minnows. The larger ones are pretty mean and they eat everything.
