Bichirs with Oscars?

I have two Senegal Bichirs, 4-5inches in length. My question is can they go in with my two Oscars 6-7inches, Or should I wait until they grow larger?

Right now they are with a 5inch Lima Catfish, 4inch Mystus Cat, 2 1/2inch Tinfoil Barbs... But I will eventually have to move them to my larger tank along with my Lima & Mystus.

as long as those bichirs doesn't fits in the oscar's mouth... but then there are still a possibility that the oscar will try to fit those bichirs in his mouth....

They will look lke a large earthworm to your O's.

I have kept a bichir about that size with an oscar about that size for a year now. None of my cichlids give him any problems.

Actually it really depends on the oscars... some oscars are very mellow some are not... Just OBSERVE!!!

You could always try it, but be have a net and a spare tank handy b/c it might get ugly quick. My Os were bastards. Anything they couldn't eat right out would just get bullied into submission including a Jade Goby with at least 2" on the Os.

Thanks for the info!, I've decided to wait until they get around 9-10inches before I try it.

And if the O's give them any problems I'll buy another tank.
