As long as they don't go at it head to tail or chase eachother and it just fin nipping its kinda normal they are establishing territory and a tank heirachy.if you have stuff in the tankyou could try rearranging it this will desatablish territorioal markers -Anne
I have a similar problem...I had a male for about a week...got a female to put in there with him. They do ok most of the time, but I am noticing torn fins on the female and I see the male nip at her during feeding time. Is this also just normal aggression?
