Yes, it's me with another stocking idea for my 150 gallon tank.

Could I make a bichir and angelfish tank?

Or some sort of bichir tank that also has a ton of fish swimming everywhere ?

Yes as long as the fish are too large to become bichir food. I have kept cichlids with bichirs in the past with success.

What would be good tankmates for them?
Preferably for pics cause my phone doesn't load pics when I search them online

Probably senegalus or most upper jaws. Others can be delhezi and palmas complex. Just want to avoid bichirs nipping on the fins of any angel fish.

For got about retros and gold dust as well. Another good options.

Pretty much anything that the bichir cannot eat. Elongated fish are likely to become snacks. Upper jaw bichirs I have found to mostly be easy-going. Something like a Senegal could be kept with south American cichlids like severums, etc.
You would have to watch out for if you got a particularly nippy one,as kno4te kno4te mentioned. Though my experience has not been that they are very nippy.

My friend has kept several fish with Bichirs. They were at a size where they could not be prey.
