bifa breeding age ?

hey! so my big male bifa who is about 7 years old if i had to guess had successful batches before. recently i switched him to a new younger female. the problem is since i switched all the eggs have been infertile
ile, the dont get fuzzy tho just white. could he be too old to breed now? i know they live 12+ years. or could the female be the problem?

At 7 years old he still should be fine to spawn, if it's a young female it can take them a few attempts for them to get the hang of it.
