bifa growth rate

hello, i have a 14 inch bifa and a 5 inch bifa in a 180g atm. i would like to get my numbers up to possibly 4 or 5 total. i see that cota has 3 different sizes. i was wondering the typical growth rate of them if i get like 10 1.5 inchers to put in a 150 to grow out in. the 5 inch one i got at 3 inches and the 14 inch one i got at 10ish so i never really grew any out from 1.5 inches.

From free swimmers to 10 inch for males 8 for females took 2 years.

The growth of my bifas was slower than Dan. Sounds like he has way more experience with the species if he is breeding them. My male took about 1.5 years to get from 1" to 10"; the female started at the same size and in 1.5 years was about 5" to 6". Once the biggest male got to about 6", he started killing other bifas in the tank.

That big male in your picture is incredible!
