Bifasciatus or Synspilus

Hey guys!
I am debating on which fish to get they both seem to be quite colorful and look slightly similar! So I was wondering what you guys thought of which is a better fish???

syns or quetzal are less colorful than the bifas. I suggest you buy bifas... i have them both but the bifas are more atractive... but it depends beauty is in the eye of the beholder...hehehe
 
they do both have their own attraction. I like the coloring of bifs, but the "everywhere" color and patterning of syns is very pretty too. I'd get some pics of adults and see which one you would prefer to live with. (or get both as mentioned,lol)
 
I like bifas better. There are several variants so color varies but all of them are beautiful.
Syns tend to be more "seen one, seen 'em all" IMO but there are exceptions. RuckFules has THE most amazingly colored syns I've ever seen. I would love some of the kind he has.
Colors aside I just prefer the way bifas age better. Syns tend to get more chunky, especially in the face, which I don't like.
 
Thanks a lot for the input guys! I think I'm gonna go with the bifas, plus the gf wants me to get the bifas, says its prettier haha but really its my decision to get the bifas...not her's:lol2:
 
My synspila are stuninng; there blue colour is so vivid and the male is beginning to grow a lovely hump. I'd go with these anyday.
