Big and small

Can I have dats 11cm 8 dats with the new dats 3-4cm 11 dats or will small dats be food for de big ones???...

good question, i saw a couple about 3" in an lfs & i got a 7" specimen already. would the big one eat up?

I have heard that if the big dat is super hungry it will eat smaller ones and if he eats live food then small that will be food all my dats eats pellets and they get what they need so they are not hungry like starving and no living food they get so it can work for my I think

Big and small is ok. But I would not recommend very big and tiny ( v big being 13-14 inch plus and v tiny being less than 1.5 inch)

I've heard dats won't eat other dats. But they'll bully the heck out of them.

The bigger the size difference, the less there will be fighting. Datnoids don't eat datnoids, BUT I've heard of freak accidents where the smaller datnoid was next to the food and the bigger datnoid sucked down the food along with the smaller datnoid by mistake.

a big tiger will show no intrest in a small tiger until the size get close then they will fight

Spot on.... Seen this happen in my tank few years ago. The tiny ones can get caught in the cross fire.....
But As others have said, the bigger
One will show no interest in eating the smaller...it won't see it as food.
