Hi,
I have a 29 gallon planted tank. I have a 3 inch Angel fish and added a small one about 1 inch. I have had other cichlids before and know they hassle the new fish or pick on them to establish a pecking order.
But I was reading I should have a group of angels rather than 2 of them. Is there any truth to this? I can be patient and allow the bigger one to establish dominance to the smaller one, but if this is gonna go on forever I don't wanna put the smaller one through the torture.
I also got 2 small Ram cichlids, 2 threadfin rainbow fish, 1 flagfish, and like 6 ottos in the tank with them. The bigger Angelfish kinda bullies them a little too. They all mostly hang out in the lower bottom section of the tank.
