An island somewhere......
I originally was second guessing whether I should have ordered this Amphilophus Amarillo but once it hit the tank, I was glad I bought it. Got my shipment of various CA's tonight and this will be my future tank buster! He's about 7.5" and a bit stressed. His currently in a bare, black bottom tank but that will change this weekend when I get a chance to make his tank a little more comfortable.

Thanks fellas. I like him and in time he will be more responsive. I like the pure black look but it will change and his other colors will come thru with substrate and such. I'm thinking he's gonna need a girlfriend..... should have ordered a female also but I didn't want to get back into the hassle of breeding again.
 
Good to see you getting back into CA's, I went CA too quite a while ago.. I haven't talked to you in forever how you been!? This guys should bounce back and color up in no time. He will be a stunner when he does too.
 
Justin.... what's up man! Been a while. I'm getting back in to CA's but running out of tank space and don't really want to or have space for more tanks! I only have a 2 car garage and bought a car that needs to be garaged! :( I'll have to search your threads to see what your keeping and to enjoy your pictures!

I haven't been posting my fish or tanks much. I keep: a dovii pair, festae pair, carpintis escondido pair, nic pair and and old angry 13" midevil amph male. Every one of them my favorite :D I'll post updates soon for you to check out.
